About

Rebecca Finell is an international award-winning industrial designer and serial

entrepreneur who’s known to disrupt traditional categories with her innovative product

and exhibit design.

As a young mom, Rebecca founded Boon, Inc in 2004. She invented and designed

baby gear that would go on to create new categories in the baby industry. Boon

products were immediately available at Target and many other stores all over the world.

Rebecca founded her eponymous luxury brand, FINELL, in 2013. FINELL offered

modern luxury housewares and handbags and are sold in 30 countries. Her iconic

handbag line has been featured in several museums including the Louvre, magazines,

fashion books and even the feature film, Blade Runner 2049.

In 2017, Rebecca Finell launched the Zip Top brand. She created a clean, thoughtful

design that would make it easy for people to stop using single-use plastics. Her Zip Top

containers were like nothing else in the world as they stand up, stay open and zip shut.

The result was a game changing product that will help millions of people to live a more

eco-friendly life.

Rebecca has an extensive background in Intellectual property. She has been issued

over 200 patents in her career and has successfully defended them online, in court and

has even been able to remove competitors' tools from Chinese factories.

In 2020, Finell again pushed to change another industry when launching the first

reusable pure silicone breast milk storage bag.

The thoughtful details put into the design of her Zip Top brand have been recognized

across the globe. Zip Top won an International Design Excellence Award,

Gold German Design Award, European Product Design Award, Winner of America by

Design tv series and was named a Good Housekeeping Editor’s Pick at the

International Home + Housewares Show.
